A security researcher due to "jackpot" an ATM live on stage at the upcoming Black Hat security conference in Las Vegas has had his talk pulled by his employer.
Security and network device vendor Juniper Networks binned Barnaby Jack's presentation -- an anticipated highlight of the security conference -- following pressure from the affected ATM vendor.

Surprising he even needed the job with this kind of skill under his belt, he could have traded it on the black market or just jackpotted his way round the world.
Seriously though, it is always sad when talks get gagged, it doesn't make the problem go away, and what is worse is when the fix never gets applied. If I were him and Juniper I would give them 6 months to fix it then post it publically, otherwise they will never fix it and we all will be paying the price in higher fees as gangs move from skimming to jackpotting once they work it out.
